Horizontal or Vertical

Both horizontal and vertical airflow are standard. The plenum wall and floor design ensures a low air velocity whilst guaranteeing a high degree of temperature/humidity uniformity.


Performance with low temperature module:

An optional low temperature module is available which is capable of a temperature of -10°C, ideal for simulation of night time frost conditions.

Plant growth chambers are used for plant breeding and genetic research, photosynthesis, nutrition, and other aspects of plant physiology, phenotypic plasticity study and plant-pathogen interaction studies.

Our SR Plant Growth chambers have been specifically designed for user flexibility in size and application, providing an adaptable growth area suitable for any future changes of research needs.

SR LAB Plant Growth chambers are available in any external sizes dependent upon user requirements, with growth areas ranging from 1.2m2 to 24.5m2. Our Plant Growth chambers are available as either single or double-sided with up to three growing areas per side. These Plant Growth rooms can be fitted with one fixed tier of lighting and up to three tiers of moveable lighting.

Growth Rooms are available with growth areas from 1.2m2 to 24.5m2 and with lighting up to 700 µmol m-2s-1 plus full humidity control. Alternatively, we can design and build to suit individual requirements.
