Application :

A hot wire ignition chamber is used to test the flammability of materials and components in electrical and electronic products, and household appliances. It simulates the thermal stress that can occur when a component fails or overloads, and evaluates the material's resistance to ignition.

Construction :

60 mm sandwich panel -PUF 60 mm thick top bottom cam lock with gasket panels Plus inside & outside PPGI Plus floor panel with aluminum plate 3-5mm plus doors plus accessories. Cabin walls with heat resistant material to prevent heat loss @100 deg for 20 mins. Cabin with dual chambers one with Observation room and another with testing room. Cabins to be separated by partition of sandwich panel with no heat loss. (@60 mm sandwich panel -PUF/ precast concrete wall@65mm).

Ecocentric System :

Chamber runs on the basis of Dewpoint control. Less deviations during short-term door opening & power failure. Less utility area Increased storage area. Low operating cost. Minimum power & water consumption. Reduced deviations. Less breakdowns due to standby refrigeration & humidification system. Due to PLC HMI & controlling through microprocessor based PID Temp. & RH operations the on time of both Temp. & RH system is reduced & efficiency of this system is increased with reduced energy consumption.

First time in India developed by SR Lab Instruments. Standby Refrigeration, Standby Humidification & Standby safety controller with auto changeover, In case of failure of the main system, To run the system for a longer with uninterrupted operation. Also USFDA approved 21 CFR compliance software, where in case of temp. & RH fluctuation, SMS & Email alert shall be sent to registered user nos and minute details of operation of the chamber can be downloaded weekly, Monthly or Quarterly.

Door :

Double Toughned Glass window on partition in chambers. Windows for ambient lighting. Observation room with two doors and fire resistant door in between testing and observation. Non flammable Sliding Door and emergency door at observation room with inside push opening. Observation room doors with electronic access control system (fingerprint) with mechanical override. Fingerprint Access Control System with Electromagnetic Lock, Exit Push Button.

Drain :

Water drain outlet at testing room.

Exhaust Fans :

Heavy duty exhaust fan 2 nos in testing room.

Infrastructure Accessories Included :

1 table and 1 chair at observation room.

1 Ac at Observation room (1.5T) : Switch board for exhaust fan, light, access control system.

32" monitor & Telephone extension.

Manually operated emergency alarm system : - Hooter ( light with siren system).

CCTV camera with DVR mounted on movable stand, video stream on monitor.

Fire Fighting :

Fire extinguisher in testing room (CO2, 22.5 kg)
Manually operated sprinkler system (2 sprinklers @ center)
Fire extinguisher hose reel (to be used in case of full product burn)
2 Sprinklers with minimum distance of 1 m from wall both side. Lights inside testing room on wall side above observation window.

Additional Features :

Temperature sensors with display at test room and observation room. 1 set of Rtd pt100 sensor and temperature controller.
Power supply for constant current 10A.
